Third Bodies

Third Bodies, 2024-2025

This body of work is a meditation on the pristine ideologies of Nature and ecological mysticism. Takes on ecology without falling back on the image of untouched nature, nature that has been sensationalised, territorialised, and subjected to psychoanalytic interpretations, turning it into a fragile sanctum sanctorum—where hierarchies of race and caste have dictated proximity and distance. In this context, the Third Body becomes a search for voice amidst territorial intolerance, slicing, withering, erosion, and rupture. Third Body conceptualization is primarily documented in the zoological and anthropological departments of the Government Museums in Thrissur and Chennai, India. Coastal areas of Thrissur, India, and Geo-heritage sites, museums, aquariums, and water bodies in Sharjah, UAE.

Artists' self-Portraiture and Documentations of his coastal village in Azhicode, and two neighboring villages—Eriyad & Kara, Kerala, India.Al Madam Ghost Village, Conserved by Sharjah Art Foundation, Sharjah, UAE. And Govt.Museum Chennai, Egmore.
