“The dowdy dowager of India’s Roads” once The Times of India called India’s classic Ambassador from Hindustan Motors.
Kolkata the city of tradition, romance and beautiful vibes, this Ambassador from Hindustan motors add a swag to the city which never get rid of its tradition and the mighty.

India's iconic ambassador car first started its production in 1957, modelled after the British Morris Oxford, the ambassador was the first car to be made in India and was once a status symbol, but began losing its dominance in the mid-1980’s when Maruti Suzuki introduced its low-priced 800 hatchback.

In 2014 Hindustan Motors stopped producing Ambassador and Now multinational entities like Ola and Uber taking over the roads with new generation motor cars like Tata Indigo Maruti Swift, etc This will soon dim the colours of Kolkata’s roads.

From a very young age Kolkata was a place always wanted to know and experience may be the city / the West Bengal known for its massive left Legacy. You never feel enough photographing this road monument, before it fades away want to go and travel entire Kolkata with this road queen...!
